I have taken courses in news reporting and writing, beat reporting, editing, online media, grammar and journalism ethics. Within SESE, I have taken Intro to Geology, Water Planet, Habitable Worlds, Dynamic Earth and Earth's Critical Zone and general biology and chemistry. I am a student in Barrett, the Honors College.
 
I was a NASA Space Grant intern during the Fall 2012 semester under Nicole Cassis. I worked as a writing intern for the School of Earth and Space Exploration. During the Spring 2013 semester, I was a breaking news reporter for the Arizona Republic and azcentral.com. I have also written for The State Press Magazine, Redlands Daily Facts and Downtown Devil. I am also a host on Traffic Jam, a talk radio show for the Blaze 1330 AM, ASU's radio station. This coming summer, I will be a digital media reporter for the Huntsville Times in Alabama as part of the Dow Jones News Fund.
