The HARVee program is a student research project exploring the feasibility and application of hybrid aircraft. The objective of this project is to design and build a fully autonomous tilt-wing aircraft with vertical take-off and conventional cruise capabilities. It provides the opportunity for undergraduate and graduate students to participate in research and community outreach, and to develop engineering and project management skills.
